Current production status
Juno33 is awaiting initial TikTok app review. A separate Direct Post audit is required to lift private-viewing restrictions. TikTok restricts posts from unaudited clients to private visibility. Juno33 therefore restricts Direct Posts to SELF_ONLY and does not claim public delivery until TikTok approves the client and a provider-confirmed public cycle has been observed.
Connecting an account
A creator selects “Connect TikTok” and completes TikTok Login Kit authorization. TikTok—not Juno33—collects the creator’s TikTok credentials. Juno33 receives OAuth tokens and the account information allowed by the scopes the creator approves.
Juno33 requests only user.info.basic to identify the consenting creator video.publish for Direct Post, and video.upload for Finish in TikTok. It does not request profile statistics or public-video inventory permissions.
Direct Post workflow
- The creator selects an authorized TikTok account and an eligible video.
- Juno33 queries TikTok’s creator information and uses the returned posting capabilities.
- The creator reviews the exact video and caption.
- The creator selects a TikTok-returned privacy level. Juno33 does not silently choose one.
- Comments, Duet, and Stitch follow the creator’s choices and TikTok’s account capabilities; optional interactions default off.
- The creator discloses commercial content when applicable. Your brand and Branded content are separate choices; branded content cannot use Only me privacy.
- The creator confirms TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation and supplies the AI-generated-content disclosure when applicable.
- Only after the creator’s explicit submit action does Juno33 initialize Direct Post using
video.publish. - Juno33 stores TikTok’s publish identifier, polls status, and reports publication only after provider confirmation.
Finish in TikTok
The creator can choose “Finish in TikTok” instead of Direct Post. After the creator reviews the media and explicitly confirms the upload, Juno33 uses video.upload to send it to TikTok. The creator opens TikTok’s inbox notification to edit and finish posting. An upload is not a published post: Juno33 shows that action is still required in TikTok.
For video uploads, the caption in the Juno33 draft is not transferred by TikTok’s upload API. The creator adds the final caption and chooses privacy, interactions, music, and applicable commercial or AI disclosures in TikTok. Scheduling this delivery mode sets the upload time, not the final publication time.
Publishing status
Juno33 uses status polling and supported webhook events to reconcile delivery, failure, visibility changes, and authorization removal. An accepted request is not treated as proof of publication. Juno33 waits for TikTok to confirm the result.
Creator control and disconnection
The creator can disconnect TikTok from Juno33. Disconnecting removes the stored provider credentials and prevents future API access. A creator can also revoke access through TikTok. Historical delivery, security, or audit records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
