Direct Post is currently private
Juno33’s TikTok API client is awaiting review. Until TikTok lifts the restriction and a public cycle is provider-confirmed, Direct Post is limited to SELF_ONLY/private visibility. Do not treat a private validation upload as a public post.
Finish in TikTok is a handoff
The Finish in TikTok path uploads a prepared video so the creator can complete it in TikTok. TikTok sends a notification for the creator to open, edit, and finish the post. The upload itself is not publication. The creator chooses the final privacy, interaction, music, and disclosure settings in TikTok.
Review caption and timing separately
For a video upload handoff, TikTok’s upload API does not transfer the Juno33 draft caption. Add the final caption in TikTok. If you schedule the handoff, the scheduled time is when the upload starts, not the time the creator finishes publishing.
Check the outcome
Juno33 keeps the private-validation and handoff states distinct. After completing the handoff, verify the result in TikTok rather than assuming that an upload or notification made the post public.
Choose the path deliberately
- For Direct Post, the audience is SELF_ONLY/private during the current review state.
- For Finish in TikTok, the creator must complete the post inside TikTok.
- The draft caption is not transferred by the video upload handoff.
- An upload time is not the final publication time.
Common questions
Why can’t Direct Post publish publicly yet?
TikTok restricts unaudited API clients. Juno33 is awaiting review and a confirmed public validation cycle before claiming that capability.
What should I check after the handoff?
Open TikTok, complete the caption and required settings, publish there, then verify the live post on the destination account.
Start with one connected account and review its actual delivery path before relying on a scheduled result.
